TOXTA 100 units is a type of toxin made of Botulinum toxin type A, often called BOTOX, from Clostridium botulinum. It is packaged as a small powder substance that has to be mixed with saline before use. It is injected into muscles to stop contractions that lead to wrinkle formation; thus is an anti-wrinkle agent. Its effects can be visible within a period of 4 to 5 days and can last for up to four months.
GUIDELINES FOR TOXTA 100 U

Preparation Before Injection:
- Take the TOXTA 100 Unit out of the refrigerator.
- Inspect the product for any irregularities in appearance; it should be a white freeze-dried powder in a colorless and transparent vial.
- Use sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride solution to dilute the product. Introduce the solution slowly into the vial to avoid denaturation.
- The dilution should be to a concentration of 100 U/2.5ml (4 U/0.1ml).
- After dilution, inject within 24 hours and store any unused mixture in the refrigerator at 2 ~ 8ºC.
